One Lucky Pup is a locally owned Charlotte pet care business providing structured dog daycare, overnight boarding, full-service dog and cat grooming, selected training programs through Happy Dogs, and pet retail at two Charlotte-area locations.

We are locally owned and independently operated. Our leadership team remains directly involved in daily operations and regularly works alongside the staff caring for our guests. That hands-on approach helps us maintain consistent routines, attentive care, and a familiar experience for both dogs and their families.

Safety First
New dogs complete an evaluation before regular daycare or boarding. Our team receives pet CPR training, and PACCC-certified professionals help guide care standards, continuing education, and daily operations.
Structure and Enrichment
Structured activity, supervised play, enrichment, rest, and predictable routines help dogs enjoy a more comfortable day.
Individual Attention
We consider each dog’s temperament, energy level, handling needs, comfort with other dogs, and care preferences. Smaller-group and individual play options are available when appropriate.
Clear Communication
Our team works closely with pet parents to understand care details, answer questions, and communicate concerns before and during a visit.

PACCC-Certified Leadership
Amanda DiLiberto, owner of One Lucky Pup, is a Certified Professional Animal Care Operator through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council. The CPACO credential recognizes demonstrated knowledge in professional pet-care operations, leadership, safety, and industry practices.
More Than a Place to Leave Your Dog
One Lucky Pup provides more than a place for dogs to spend the day or stay overnight. Our individualized approach allows us to support a wide range of dogs, including puppies, senior dogs, dogs who prefer smaller groups, dogs who are more comfortable with individual play, and dogs who have not yet been spayed or neutered.
Care options for intact dogs depend on age, temperament, evaluation results, safety considerations, and current location policies. Play groups and activity routines may be adjusted to help support a safer, more comfortable experience.
